HelpMy apologies, but I’m going to use this space to rant about my fellow GreetingSpring artists. It seems I work with a bunch of dullards. In our recent brainstorming session for 4th of July ecards, I was exploring the idea of building an ecard based on Paul Revere and his midnight ride. As I explained the details for the card such as the Old North Church and lanterns in the steeple, my co-workers eyes seem to glaze over and they started to yawn. It turns out their knowledge of the American Revolution was a bit limited.
Throwing caution to the wind, I made the ecard anyway. Hopefully it will find more educated and sophisticated viewers online. I’d be interested to hear your reactions; please post a comment here on our blog.
As for my history-challenged partners, I suppose I should have made an ecard with a monkey in a diaper waving a sparkler… hey, that gives me an idea for next year!

The animation on this card was actually powerful to me. It would have been awesome if there could have been an alternative card with a bit of historic wording about Paul Revere as I really could picture him tearing around and warning people. Awesome animation.
