Looking for a funny friendship card to send on Friendship Day? You might want to consider our newest ecard, We Come In Peace. From the warped mind of GreetingSpring co-owner and artist Judd Albrecht. We Come in Peace is a fun look at how complete opposites can become friends. Remember Friendship Day is this Sunday, August 2nd.
I have to admit I’m not too good at celebrating Friendship Day. But as I sit here and think about it, everyday should be Friendship Day. We should definitely let our friends know how special they are, and a GreetingSpring ecard is a perfect fun way to do it.
This week GreetingSpring co-owner and artist, Josh Doohen, has created a delightful and funny friendship ecard, BEE-n There. It should bring a smile to anyone you send it to.
This week we are featuring our new birthday ecard, Birthday Blessings. An encouraging religious ecard wishes the receipient peace, joy and love. The ecard finishes with an encouraging Bible verse from Psalm 115.
A big thank you to our members who took the time to make some suggestions over the last few weeks. We’ve done our best to answer some of those suggestions. With the sad passing of Michael Jackson, we had the request for some pop singer animations. Also we’ve had the request for more wedding animated clipart. As always we like to hear what you are using, and what additional items you’d like to see on GreetingSpring.

My apologies, but I’m going to use this space to rant about my fellow GreetingSpring artists. It seems I work with a bunch of dullards. In our recent brainstorming session for 4th of July ecards, I was exploring the idea of building an ecard based on Paul Revere and his midnight ride. As I explained the details for the card such as the Old North Church and lanterns in the steeple, my co-workers eyes seem to glaze over and they started to yawn. It turns out their knowledge of the American Revolution was a bit limited.
Throwing caution to the wind, I made the ecard anyway. Hopefully it will find more educated and sophisticated viewers online. I’d be interested to hear your reactions; please post a comment here on our blog.
As for my history-challenged partners, I suppose I should have made an ecard with a monkey in a diaper waving a sparkler… hey, that gives me an idea for next year!

Over the years we’ve created thousands of animated graphics for other clipart and animation services. It sure is exciting for us to be creating animations now exclusively for GreetingSpring. We added our first batch today.

Judd and I had a blast making the music for this one. I was a bit miffed that Jarl posted the video of me recording, but at least the ecard turned out ok. Let us know what you think, and if you have any suggestions for ecards.

Art has to put all bashfulness and self respect aside when laying down the audio for our latest “Caveman Band” ecard.
We just wanted to announce that GreetingSpring was born Wednesday, June 3rd 2009 at 4.12 PM.
The bundle of joy is over 1200 pixels wide and almost 1700 pixels tall.
Proud parents are Art, Jarl, Jim, Josh, Judd and Michele.
Formerly known as JupiterGreetings, GreetingSpring is now owned by us, the artists. This is now our full time job, we’re a little scared, but most mostly we’re excited to be doing what we love. We hope you’ll come along for the ride.
Shortly after the birth we signed our first new GreetingSpring member- a nice lady from Massachusetts. We want to thank our new members for joining and all of our loyal JupiterGreetings members for sticking with us. We will continue to work hard to provide great animations and greeting cards at a great price!
